BrewRatio terms and conditions
Thanks for shopping at BrewRatio. We appreciate you as our valued customer and believe that you have a rewarding experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing our products at BrewRatio Online Store (herein known as “BrewRatio” in this policy).
As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at BrewRatio. The main thing to remember is that by placing an order or making a purchase at BrewRatio, you agree to the terms set forth below along with BrewRatio’s Privacy Policy and Terms of use.
1. Pricing and price adjustments/ corrections
All price indicated on BrewRatio’s website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). You will be charged in SGD during checkout, the equivalent in your local currency will be calculated by your bank.
With regards to pricing, BrewRatio reserves the right to change prices for products displayed on BrewRatio store and related shopping platforms at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur.
Sales and promotional discounts cannot be applied retroactively or to orders that have already been placed. Any sales and promotional prices, as well as pricing adjustments, limited-time reductions, and similar offers, cannot be retroactively applied to previous, earlier, or historic purchase receipts and orders. This is especially applicable if the item in question was initially purchased as part of a sales promotion.
2. Order acceptance
Once we receive your order, BrewRatio will provide you with an email order confirmation. Your receipt of an order confirmation, however, does not signify BrewRatio’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell; we are simply confirming that we received your order. BrewRatio reserves the right at any time after receiving your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. If BrewRatio cancels an order after you have already been billed, BrewRatio will refund the billed amount.
3. Shipping & delivery
3.1 General shipping policies
BrewRatio is a boutique store which tries its best to provide quality products. We strive to ship anywhere on the planet, of which shipment services are provided by delivery companies at reasonable rates. Please note that BrewRatio does not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO / FPO Addresses.
We strive to meet the specified estimated delivery timelines indicated on the website at the time of checkout. However, BrewRatio cannot be held liable for late deliveries, since the actual delivery of your order can be impacted by many events beyond BrewRatio’s control such as follows :
- availability of stocks
- load capacity of 3rd party courier
- high order volumes during sales promotion
- unforeseen events
- force majeure such as extreme weather conditions, act of God etc
- other similar circumstances
Under the aforesaid occurrences, deliveries may experience extended and prolonged delays. We seek your understanding and patience during such situations.
Please be advised that especially during sale periods, do expect extended and prolonged delivery times due to the increased order volume. If you have concerns about potential delivery delays during sales periods and due to unforeseen circumstances, you may want to explore options such as self-collection at our showroom or utilize direct last-mile delivery services like LALAMOVE, GRAB, and others.
We are dedicated to ensuring our customers have a positive experience, and any delays caused by third-party logistics providers do not align with / are not reflections of our well-established service standards.
In addition, there may / will be no deliveries or shipments scheduled on public holidays / non-working days since some shipment or courier service companies may not be operating during this period of time.
Shipping costs will be calculated upon order checkout.
Consequently, the risk of the loss of, or damage to product(s) shall pass to you when you, or a person designated by you, acquires physical possession of the product(s). Title in the product(s) shall pass to you when the product(s) is picked up by the carrier. At this point, you will receive the Shipment Notification Email.
3.2 Order processing time
Once BrewRatio receives an order at our website OR other related shopping platforms, and if there are no unforeseen circumstances, The usual processing time for an order is 1 to 2 business days for stock items & 3 to 4 business days for fresh coffee beans before routing order over to courier for delivery / shipment.
3.3 Shipping within Singapore
- BrewRatio’s Singapore deliveries are executed by 3rd party delivery/courier companies. We have no control over/decision-making influence on the delivery schedule of courier companies since these companies have their own delivery protocols.
- Deliveries by 3rd party delivery/courier companies are executed on business working days (Monday to Friday). Delivery hours by 3rd party delivery/courier companies are from 9am to 10pm.
- Non-delivery days are Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays UNLESS specified otherwise beforehand OR prior notifications are made known to us for special arrangements.

- While BrewRatio strives to deliver with the earliest possible timeframe, BrewRatio is not liable for any delays in deliveries of orders from the point when the orders/items are in the hands of courier service companies.
3.4 Free local delivery for orders over $200 SGD
- Order total must be equal or more than $200.00 SGD after all discounts, and before shipping, handling and taxes are added.
- Please checkout with the free shipping option.
- The offer is for a limited period only.
- Applies to domestic STANDARD shipping only. If the shipment is international, shipping charges will apply.
- Free Shipping is only applicable for STANDARD Shipping only.
- Additional duties, taxes or fees may apply to International Shipments.
- Offer is non-transferable and subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply.
3.5 International shipping
BrewRatio ships internationally to most countries* worldwide.
* Prior to ordering espresso machines, grinders or electrical products that have/require specific electrical voltages for them to function/work, please check carefully on voltage standard/requirement in your country/region before placing order.
* For roasted coffee beans’ purchase, do execute a prior check on whether your country has any prohibitions/restrictions on importing roasted coffee beans (in terms of weight, quantity etc).
* Before making any purchases, it is advisable that customers conduct due diligence by verifying if any products are prohibited or restricted from being imported into the country. Please note that BrewRatio cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from such import restrictions or prohibitions.
- BrewRatio’s international deliveries are executed by international courier companies. Shipping time listed on our website is an estimate indication quoted by courier companies itself and BrewRatio is not responsible for any delay that might occurs on the deliveries itself.
- Deliveries by international courier companies are executed on business working days (Monday to Friday). Delivery hours by international courier companies varies. Please do contact the international courier customer service at your region to confirm on your local delivery hours.
- Non-delivery days are Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays UNLESS specified otherwise beforehand OR prior notifications are made known to us for special arrangements.

4. Duties and taxes
4.1 International deliveries
Orders shipped outside of Singapore will be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination courier or country. Please contact your local customs office to inquire about the duty rate. BrewRatio LLP is not responsible for any tax duties or taxes imposed by any countries other than Singapore.
If you refuse to provide payment for these fees and/or refuse acceptance of the parcel, the product will be returned to BrewRatio and any fees and/or losses associated with its recovery will be deducted from your refund.
Any taxes, duties, brokerage charges or other fees accrued for returning merchandise to BrewRatio are the sole responsibility of the shipment’s recipient.
4.2 Deliveries within Singapore:
All deliveries within Singapore are GST free. BrewRatio LLP do not impose any GST within Singapore delivery.
5. Safety of products and services
BrewRatio takes steps to ensure, to the best of our knowledge, that the products/services provided are safe. In view of this, BrewRatio and its employees will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions or sickness or mishaps from any of the products and services delivered to you.
6. Product limited warranty by BrewRatio
BrewRatio product warranty period coverage is stated at at the product page itself for products eligible for warranty. Warranty coverage is only valid for products qualified for warranty. Our website stated product warranty period coverage is for non-commercial use only. For all machine used under commercial environment, BrewRatio offers warranty coverage up to 3 months instead.
Product warranty period coverage is non-transferable, and its validity starts from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover any further claims for damage against BrewRatio Singapore in any cases.
Should your product purchased consists of a defect related to electrical fault within the warranty period, please file your repair request here for verification before arranging to have your original product returned to us.
If the product, or one of its parts qualifies for replacement or service under the warranty, please make arrangement and send the faulty product to BrewRatio’s Service center. Typical turn around time for addressing warranty claims including repairing is up to 5 business days (under normal circumstances), depending on the type of damage or warranty claim. If the machine is beyond economic repair or if repair is impossible, you will be provided with an identical or equivalent new machine.
Considering the intricacy involved in repairing the machine, all repairs must be carried out at our service center including warranty claims. BrewRatio does not offer on-site technician services.
Repair of the machine or the provision of spare parts does not extend the period of the warranty contract period. The provision of consumables and accessories is not covered by this agreement.
Warranty are limited within Singapore at our service center in Singapore. Warranties are VOID on all products shipped or transported outside Singapore unless coverage is explicitly included by the manufacturer. Please always check with BrewRatio and submit repair request here before attempting to send back any machine for repair.
For products purchased with BrewRatio, a number of circumstances will void a product warranty, including but not limited to those listed here:
- Accumulation of scale in, on, or around the water circuit of an espresso machine.
- Preventable clogs in grinders or dosing mechanisms.
- Failure to adhere to the manufacturers’ recommended maintenance schedule and procedures.
- Use of the product for any purpose other than those stated by the manufacturer (e.g. commercial use of a product intended for home use).
- Removal of the product from its intended region of use (e.g. Taking the product on vacation with you to another country, or permanently moving the product outside of the country in which it was purchased).
- User error and/or negligence (e.g. improper reassembly of parts, improper storage, etc.).
- Products that have been damaged directly or indirectly from the use of a third party product.
- Products damaged as a result of connection to irregular current or voltage sources, OR use on electric or other current or voltage other than that marked on the Product, or any instruction book.
- Product failure as a result of insect infestation
- Perform a repair done by consumers themselves OR someone without the professional related expertise.
- Products for which a consumer has no Proof of Purchase or for which the applicable Warranty Period has expired.
- Products for which consumers provide inaccurate, invalid, or incorrect information when filing warranty claims, such as incorrect / mismatching order and invoice details, purchaser or buyer contact information, and similar discrepancies, of which detection, tracking, or locating within our BrewRatio e-commerce platforms and internal records are impossible.
- Damage sustained from shipping and/or handling, or damage due to any of the above circumstances.
- Any occurrences close to likewise the above mentioned.
Kindy note that that the following items are not covered by BrewRatio’s warranty policies
- Cosmetic damages (examples include scratches, imprint/water marks, cracks and dents, stains, etc.)
- Failure of normal wear and tear items (e.g. group gaskets, wear seals, shower screens, etc.).
- Products damaged as a result of acts of nature e.g. fire, flood, or lightning.

7. Product availability and limitations
BrewRatio may limit the number and quantity of products available for purchase. BrewRatio reserves the right to change quantities available for purchase at any time, even after you place an order.
Furthermore, there may be occasions when BrewRatio confirms your order but subsequently learns that it cannot supply the ordered product. In the event BrewRatio cannot supply a product you ordered, we will cancel the order and refund your purchase price in full.
8. Backorder processing
Backorders are items that are dependent very much on the demand. Backorder status are stated under the product descriptions and shipment duration varies for every individual product. Please do take note on Backorder’s Terms & Conditions stated below.
- Backorders might take up to 14 business days’ processing time and more depending on the supply situation. BrewRatio will notify you once backorder is processed.
- In the event where any item(s) do not manage to arrive in time for stipulated date of delivery, BrewRatio shall inform customers on this, and update on a new shipment fulfilment schedule to customers.
- In the event of backorder item(s) is unavailable, BrewRatio will inform customers and issue full refund.
- BrewRatio will ship all stocked item(s) and fulfil all remaining backorders item(s) to customers separately within Singapore upon request.
9. Return & refund
9.1 Return
BrewRatio focuses on bringing the best to our customers, and great shopping experience to them. In addition, in the event of a return, we would also like to procure a hassle-free process to customers. Herein the terms for patrons to understand prior to any returns (if applicable) and facilitate the process:
- The recipient is responsible for all return shipping costs involved with returning shipments to BrewRatio, including the return of damaged and/or defective merchandise.
- Items purchased within 7 days upon receipt of shipment can be returned if items remain unopened and sealed in their original packaging.
- If the returned item is found to be used or not in re-saleable condition upon/after return, an administrative fee of SGD$25 per item for small appliances and SGD$120 per item for major appliances (espresso machines) will be charged on top of the 10% restocking fee. All electronic spare parts for all modules are strictly non-returnable.
- For items purchased more than 7 days upon receipt of shipment, strictly no return is allowed.
- To request for a return shipment, please send in your request to Customer Service at [email protected].
- All returns shall only be accepted at and returned to BrewRatio under buyers’ arrangement:

- If you wish to return one or more items to us, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for any of the items returned.
9.2 Refund
In the event of refund is accepted, the following refund conditions applies:
- Refund does not include delivery charges rendered for shipment of item for buyer’s purchase at the beginning (before the return).
- Please note that any complimentary gifts, vouchers, accessories associated with the purchase must also be returned at the same time.
- If complimentary gifts, vouchers and accessories have been used, the refund amount will be offset accordingly.
- In this case, any contractual documents / warranties associated with said purchase will all be null and void.

10. Reward$ point program
10.1 Earning Reward$ points
- With every S$1.00 spent at BrewRatio, you will be entitled with 1 Reward$ point, multiplied by your Reward$ tier earning multiplier. You must be logged in during checkout for the Reward$ points to be credited to you. Reward$ points earned will not expire within the program active period. In summary:

10.2 Criteria & eligibility for Rewards’ point redemption
- An account must be created with BrewRatio.
- The account must be logged into for any redemption of Reward$.
- You can view your Reward$ transaction history and details at your “Reward$ Balance” menu.
- Only Eligible Persons with valid accounts with BrewRatio are entitled to earn reward points.
- BrewRatio reserves the right to take appropriate administrative and/or reject any redemption, if the persons are discovered to be involved in manipulating Reward$ points.
10.3 Redeeming Reward$ points
- Every 1 Reward$ Point is equivalent to S$0.01.
- Reward$ Point are to be redeemed at checkout page only.
- You need to be logged in to BrewRatio to be able to view and redeem your Reward$ points.
10.4 Termination of Reward$ points eligibility
- Reward$ Points are offered to you at the sole and absolute discretion of BrewRatio. Without prejudice to the other terms of these T&Cs, BrewRatio is entitled at any time in its sole discretion to terminate the program without any liability to us.
In the event of the termination of the Reward$ points program for any reason whatsoever, Reward$ points which remain unused as at the date of termination shall be forfeited without any compensation.
10.5 Reward$ Tier and tier points
- The Reward$ tier system is designed to help BrewRatio’s customer to earn more Reward$ points with the same level of spending.
- Whenever you earn Reward$ points through spending, you will simultaneously earn equivalent tier points.
- Once you have accumulated enough tier points within a one-year period, you will advance to the next tier, enabling you to earn more Reward$ points on your next purchase.
- Tier points will be reset whenever you move to a new tier.
- Tier points will be reviewed and reset annually from the day you attain your new tier.
- Tier promotions occur progressively. Spending $5,000 in a single order will not move you from Brew Enthusiast to Brew Maestro directly.
11. Children and minors
BrewRatio does not sell products for purchase by children and minors. If you are under 18, you may use BrewRatio only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
12. Disclaimers on content
BrewRatio has made all efforts to prevent the publication on its web site of content describing or representing situations of physical or psychological violence or which, according to the sensitivity of BrewRatio’s users, might be deemed to violate civil beliefs or human rights and dignity, in all its forms and expressions.
In any event, BrewRatio does not warrant that the contents of the web site are appropriate or lawful in other countries outside Singapore.
However, in the event that such contents are deemed to be unlawful or illegal in some of these countries, please do not access our web site and, where you nonetheless choose to access it, we hereby inform you your use of the services provided by BrewRatio shall be your exclusive and personal responsibility.
BrewRatio will try to ensure at all times that the content of BrewRatio is accurate and does not contain any incorrect or outdated information.
However, BrewRatio cannot be held liable for the accuracy and completeness of the content posted by BrewRatio on its web site, except for its liability for tort and gross negligence and as otherwise provided for by the law.
