IMS Competition 18g Filter Basket, 54mm for use with Breville Espresso Machines with 54mm portafilter & Solis Barista Perfetta Plus. Models include BES840, BES500, BES870, BES878 & BES880.
Like all IMS filter baskets, they are designed to exploit the whole coffee puck, have a smoother and higher gloss finish than a standard filter basket which also facilitates drying and expulsion.
Its conical and circular holes with electro polished finish ensures the best possible and consistent coffee extraction and the least amount of sediment.
The IMS Competition basket is slightly wider than the original basket and may be tighter to fit in and remove.

Haven’t tried this on yet but I do expect to pull more consistent shots with this than with the standard basket. It sure looks like a nice basket though!

First time using IMS basket…its fits nicely on my breville express pro portafilter. Haven’t try yet hope the shot comes out smoothly…thanks to seller delivery was fast.looking forward for other coffee tools from brewratio.
