USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

• For automatics espresso machines, insert one Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets in machine opening (not water tank) and follow manufacturer’s ‘Maintenance and Cleaning’ instructions.
• For traditional espresso machines, insert blind filter in portafilter and add one BRWC-310 tablet. Insert portafilter into group head. Activate brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times then remove the portafilter. Activate brew cycle and rinse portafilter in a stream of water from group head. Stop cycle and insert back portafilter into group head. Activate brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times to flush away the cleaning solution. Lastly, make and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains.
• To keep your group head clean, it is recommended to use backflushing tablets every week.
• Do not use the Cleaning Tablets for descaling your boiler.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATION

Do note that the slightest exposure to moisture / humidity will cause the tablets to granulate early.  Hence it is important to follow below steps to store them properly:

• Store tablets in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid contact with moisture to prevent tablets to disintegrate prematurely.
• Keep the tablets sealed in their original packaging or put them in tightly sealed bottle. This will minimize exposure of tablets to moisture or humidity.
• Avoid crushing/dropping/shaking the tablets, this can cause them to quickly break down.
• Use the tablets in a timely manner, and as per according to frequency of usage recommended – as tablets can lose their properties if not used over/past the suggested usage frequency/period.
