Product Features

  • BrewRatio Coffee Leveller & Tamper, 58mm distribution tool acts as a leveller, and can be used as a tamper simultaneously. It is compatible with all commericial grade 58mm portafilters.
  • It is a simple and stable tool, which spreads the coffee bed evenly from the centre to the rim of the puck within the portafilter, and effectively eliminates air pockets within the coffee ground.
  • The other flat-face side of the tool gives the final comb through and tamping of the bed structure for a compact finish. The result is a quality, superb extraction.

Product Notes

  • Adjust the leveller to the depth that you require. Place it on top of your portafilter and twist to level
  • The coffee power should be flat, even, uncompressed after applying the leveller on your coffee in your portafilter
  • Flip over and place the tamper side flat on top of your ground coffee of the portafilter
  • Let the tamper weight sit on your coffee bed. Apply  pressure if required
  • Rotate the tamper gently clockwise / counter-clockwise (tamper twisting)
  • Tamper twist action should not be done excessively. Just a slight one-clean move will do
  • Adjust both tamper & leveller height as required

    a tad too heavy and doesnt fit that well in my portafilter (Gaggia)

  • Products for which a consumer has no Proof of Purchase or for which the applicable Warranty Period has expired.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damages to product due to abuse, mishandling, accident or failure to follow operating instructions.
